Well done to our U11 girls team who won the PLPS tournament at Pirelli this afternoon. Fantastic performance by all the girls who fought extremely well in every game. Looking forward to the next round at Nottingham Forest. Very proud of our victorious team.

The children are tucked up in their beds. A nursery rhyme has been sung (requests were taken). The teachers are sat in their corridors with a cuppa (tea) and a book, supervising the rooms to help your loved ones get some sleep ready for an exciting day tomorrow.😴

Last night, Year 5 continued their diaries so that they don’t forget a single moment of this fabulous experience. Then they hunted for clues outdoors in a “Who Done It?” style mystery. Great reasoning heard as they debated the clues.

We have enjoyed watching a basket of pigeons released from the school field today. The Jeffers bubble asked our expert lots of interesting questions about keeping and racing pigeons. We all guessed how long it would take them to return home.

Year 5 had the opportunity to make a smoothy using the smoothly bike. They enjoyed tasting and guessing the contents of their smoothies. They are encouraged to go home and ride their own bikes and make their own smoothies using a range fruit.
