@BenVerlander It would generate interest and more strategic considerations if you gave second basemen those inflatable sumo suits in odd-numbered innings as well, you'd have more viral moments for sure. By the supporters' logic, equally unimpeachably good idea

@SeanBawden I mean, I'd look elsewhere first. But if the idea of persuasive authority is that the logic of a decision is sound no matter where it comes from, any Canadian judge is going to be skeptical of the spectre of motivated reasoning.
