@AaronMitchellUK Hi Aaron, the three witches design was used by a part of MI9 that worked in Europe after the D-Day landings helping allied evaders to get back to friendly forces. The vintage patch in the pic is from p194 of Phil Froom’s excellent book ‘Evasion and Escape Devices’.

@Campaignforwool It worked brilliantly, regulating your body heat is vital while working in extreme cold. When I was static on polar bear watch I paired it with a shearling bodywarmer this year. Snug.
