Ive stayed calm about San Diego Padres Humberto Cruz. The 17 yr old who wont turn 18 until December is special. He was 97 today striking out 3 of 4 he faced. It will be intetesting to see what the Padres do with him going forward. I try to stay level headed about young arms but. .

Ive been impressed with San Diego Padres Jackson Merrill since I shot him in the Complex League last season. Hes physically bigger and watching him in today's MLB game, this kid checks all the boxes. Not intimidated, calm, making adjustments during an at bat, kid is special.
