Believe it or not, Walla Walla broke a low temperature record yesterday morning and temperatures are even colder this morning! For today, expect a chilly afternoon with mostly sunny skies before more frigid temperatures return tonight.

It is a bit unusual to have the coldest temperatures of the winter season occur during the month of February, but that is what we will be facing this week. Bundle up tight and try to stay warm! 😊

Say it ain't snow! Another round of snowfall will enter the region this evening creating potential slippery roadways. The biggest effects will once again be felt along the Blue Mountains and adjacent foothills. Elsewhere, snow is possible with minor accumulation.

Today will generally be a calmer day of weather, although some hit and miss rain and snow showers will be around. Be aware, however, if travelling through either the Cascades or Blues driving conditions are still going to be very slick. Give yourself extra space on those roads!

Snow did underperform a bit yesterday / last night, but another surge of moisture moving in this evening will provide additional snowfall opportunities. The main focus of snow will be along the Blue Mountain Foothills where a Winter Storm Warning has been issued.
