Even though we just got married a month ago, it’s the 3 year anniversary of our first date🥰 I still wanted to do a surprise. She loves butterflies, so why not Van Cleef it😂
My Valentine’s Day planning paid off! She was shocked and loved it🙏 I got Beyoncé and Janet Jackson tickets, made a website/flyer for our summer concert tour. Then had a metal card with the website QR code made and put it in a YSL purse that matched the website design 🔥
Crazy to think it's been two years today!!! From Hinge...to soft launches...baecations...engagement...Introduction...and now wedding planning!
Best friend, partner in adventure, beauty & brains, comfort & safe space, and my biggest cheerleader🥰
Celebrating my fiancée’s birthday today! She loved the setup 🤌🪴🔥
If this tech thing doesn’t work out, maybe I could start consulting guys on birthday celebrations for their partners 😂
My wife is so beautiful 😍 We are so thankful to have had a perfect wedding and party with our friends and family. Truly blessed in so many ways!!! I’ll post some more pictures of the ceremony and reception once we get some back.
I made this infographic to cover some basic networking commands in Linux. Whether you're a network engineer or just starting off in Linux, these should help🤝
So blessed and thankful to have had beautiful Introduction ceremony(iku aka) with fiancée, her family, and my family! It was an amazing celebration of our relationship, commitment, and future together. I’m grateful to her family for including/welcoming me in their traditions.
@Frediculous
It's sad, because those of us that love hiking, totally agree with the perception, embrace it, and want it to be a great experience for everyone out there.
It's wholesome humor, same way as when folks make videos of grandparents overstuffing you/guests with food.
Had a few folks ask about how to get hands on experience when starting to get into tech/cyber. So this thread some of my recommendations of FREE labs/software for networking, Linux, Windows, cybersecurity, and coding that I have used.
This is a pretty solid list of free cybersecurity tools/feeds/services from
@CISAgov
It's also VERY useful for folks looking to get hands on experience with different aspects of cyber without paying for tools.
I have an entry level cyber joke, but you won’t get it unless you have 5+ years of experience, a CISSP, a few CVE’s to your name, and a GitHub account.
I've seen tweets recently from
@gabsmashh
and
@TC_Johnson
about wanting to nail down subnetting. I threw this little diagram together. For me, leaning to subnet took a combination of memorization and finally finding the right explanation that made it click.

I'm going to warn you, when it comes to tech stuff on ChatGPT...you need to have an idea of what the answer is supposed to be, because if not, it will straight up smile at you while it's lying.
Had someone request some subnetting help, so I figured I would share my diagrams again. If you are having a hard time understanding/visualizing binary, subnetting (breaking networks into smaller chunks), supernetting (adding smaller networks together), or IPv6, these are for you!
Them: I need you to give me an IP address and turn on these ports for this new server.
Me: Have you submitted a ticket with your approved change request?
I have the hardest time remembering the difference between SPF, DKIM, and DMARC when it comes to email security. So, I figure some other folks might be like me and a new infographic might be helpful🤝
I can't believe how beautiful these preview shots are 👀 Thank you so much

I've taken many tech/cyber courses/bootcamps in 19+ years. I've never had to sign an NDA to take one. If you're looking at a new one and it happens to be dishing them out in order to get a seat at the table...🚩
If you're prepping for a certification, I highly recommend going on Reddit and seeing if there is a subreddit for the particular exam or vendor to see what resources folks who just passed are recommending.
@LindseyCreated
I think a guy can sprinkle a little chivalry on it with “Would you like me to pick you up on the way?”, but only if it’s counterbalanced with understanding why the answer may be a no.
I'm a little down. A cyber program I helped build 11 years ago came to an end today. On top of that my path for a new contract for myself ended abruptly. So here's to new beginnings from sad endings🥃
Know anyone looking for a IT/Cybersecurity architect, send them my way🤝
Resharing an infographic I created a while ago to cover some basic networking commands in Linux. Whether you're a network engineer or just starting off in Linux, these should help🤝
I just heard tech is out of 6 figure jobs 👀 Too many folks coming in day one making 700k ruined it for everyone. I’m planning to transition to working in a botanical garden🪴
In celebration of hitting 10K followers on Twitter, I wanted to thank all the folks who have supported me🔥

@_jayprimo
🤝
Did it hurt, when you found out you can actually use /31 subnets on your network, even though no one ever talks about this when you’re learning about networking.
“Be a senior cloud cyber architect in 3 months with no experience and you’ll make $200k!!!” gets the folks going…
“Let’s learn how to configure IAM security policies and optimize CloudTrail alerting”…not so much 😂
Someone asked me about creating CCNA labs and if it was worth spending $500 on equipment. I'm going to say no (unless you really want to get a bunch of gear), but I'm going to give you some CCNA lab options from free to $500+ in this thread🧵
If you are…I have a three part series tying all that together…here’s the first video (links for the other two in the video description)

Just found out I passed the Pentest+🥂
A large portion of that was thanks to the

If you're studying for it too, check out my playlist with lab and a Pentest+ practice test walkthroughs🔥

check your email too!
Be careful about folks trying to sell you on something (especially if they are literally selling you something) without giving you the foundation to be successful.
Great way to use Microsoft's free training (I used it to pass both the AZ-900 and AZ-700) and get a free cert out of it!
You have until the end of June to do the challenge, and then until the end of Sept to take the free exam.
Got AI, Admin, DevOps, and some other ones...
When you're studying for a cert, getting practice tests that explain why the answers are wrong, is just as important (if not more) than just knowing what the right answer is.
Everyone is posting "If I had to start over in tech" posts the past few days.
Almost all the tech vets have cloud as one of the technologies they said they would focus on.
I couldn't agree more!
So if you want to start...here's 20 cloud vids (AWS/Azure/CCSP) to help you!!!🧵
I just realized in the past year I passed 9 certs (6 JNCIA's, AZ900, AWS CCP, and CompTIA Pentest+) all in the name of creating learning content for folks getting into the industry. The total cost of taking all the exams $50! I should do a video on that😂
Wild stuff 👀 You’ll get more in-depth stuff from my YouTube, for free! With no BS promises, links to additional resources(mostly free), and no advice saying college isn’t worth it (multiple videos on when it is, why not to sleep on community college, CLEP tests, and using
You literally charge $8,000 for a
#Cybersecurity
bootcamp course. If I paid $8,000 for that and ended up as a sysadmin, I wouldn't be in poverty, sure, but I'd be pissed that my new job isn't actually in Cybersecurity.
If you're just starting out on your path into IT or Cyber, don't underestimate the power of networking (especially with folks more senior in the industry). We all need opportunities or resources and having some folks who know you and your goals, can only help.
Just passed my
