@RichardGarriott Yeah. With the herbalist, I was using a calculator to work out how much to pay. Until I made a mistake and pressed the button too early and he still accepted the money. Wahey! Morality is what you are in the dark... Such an elegant system!

@valkonen_juha @RichardGarriott On my first playthrough, I didn't find Hawkmoon for ages. I thought the blind herbalist was a NEAT EXPLOIT. I bought slings so I could slay fleeing enemies for XP. Treasure chests? Mine! Then I found an item that let me autowin combat. Suffice it to say I started a new game!

@BurghillGirl @HXValley Imagine him showing up on his captured U-Boat, with Doug McClure and some dinosaurs. That'd put the cat amongst the pigeons and no mistake.

@bloggospow It's surprising how often that comes up in conversation, often about HMS Victory bizarrely.

@LandsknechtPike There's a lovely book "Continental Drifter" by Tim Moore who follows his path to Venice. It was great, but Thomas Coryat's treatment by the Stuarts made me very cross.

@JazRignall Respectfully disagree. I never watched the show, and discovered it through this wonderful game full of dodgy deals (and a topless calendar in the lockup). TERRY, DUMP BLUE PETER PRESENTERS I've chucked them in the canal, Arthur. What's not to love :)

@hellothisisivan @LissaKEvans He was great in one of those Amicus anthologies with Peter Cushing... and a great cravat.
