Pokemon is such a monkey's paw these days.
Quest system, but half the quests are just Auto-Battle, Craft 1 TM, and Take a Picture.
Play as your Pokemon, but any shinies you find are uncatchable.
Gym Leader Rematches, but no Battle Facility.
25 legendaries, all shiny locked.

It failed, but rather than waste perfectly good stem cells, Mark preserved the child in that very bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's.

Its the least consumer friendly its been since Gen 5, when people were bringing mons from Colosseum and XD.
Gen 6 had origin mark restrictions.
Gen 7 had origin mark restrictions.
Gen 8 had the battle ready mark, and DLC.
Gen 9 is like "nah please buy every game.

Half of the legends in Indigo Disk are literally shiny huntable, and even RNG-able in BDSP.
The only real "loss" here was the potential shiny Glastrier, Spectrier, Kubfu and Meloetta.
Guess they've just decided shiny legends/mythicals live in GO raids and paid events now.

Used the Smeargle Dupe to copy a Shiny Snivy I caught in the Savannah Biome that hadn't been into HOME ever.
No Imprison
No Struggle
Didn't even spawn under the tree.
Traded it with a viewer after without issue, since its Met Data was identical to the original. Neat glitch.

Finally finished my Competitive Shiny Staryu RNG in Leaf Green using the Teachy TV.
Took me 19 HOURS of attempts over 5 DAYS of streams, and I even got a Shiny with the wrong IVs along the way.
And it was worth it. These difficult RNG Manips are always the most fun\rewarding.

1000% Connection. Even with LAN adapter, playing with people IN YOUR REGION, you get random spikes and laughable amounts of frame delay. Like bare minimum 3-5 extra frames of delay, its a completely different game compared to offline.
Dolphin Devs + Faster Melee put it to shame.

Bring back the NatDex, make a continuously updated Stadium-Style game, with full team editing power.

BDSP had cloning glitches, so they had an excuse for making us wait November -> May
...but when Pokemon HOME released with SwSh, the wait time was November -> February.

Each Den has a preferred Type.
A lot of the Nest IDs come in twos by type, the second pool in this pair is the Rare pool (See Den 18 & 19 or 13 & 14).
Some Pokemon are exclusive to Rare Beams (Ditto)
Rare Beams have a chance of spawning the non-event G-Max pools. (Dens 77-93)

I hit a Raikou seed that was 8 minutes away after resetting for 2.5 hours.
I thought it said 8 hours, hit reset, then realized it was a mistake. Had to jerryrig a way to hold the reset button down without it coming up 😂😂😂😂

G-Max Pokemon are almost impossible to find via normal game play on purpose. That way players must keep coming back with events.
RNG abuse has been around since GBA, but SwSh endgame was busted 2 weeks in.

Just a hot tip to any Sandwich Lords out there. You cannot use ANY Herba Combo for this.
Sweet + Sour seems to fuck it up and cause Catching Power for some ingredients. I tested with Fire.

Method encounters are when an in-game mechanic or item increases odds of individual Pokemon.
Multi-hunting? Full Odds.
