Aisha Miah eloquently presenting the rationale for altered radiotherapy fractional schedules in soft tissue sarcoma.. For now hypofractionated pre-op RT should not be standard of care but trials in planning @ctosociety @aisha_miah @TheBSG_UK

The second largest workforce in the country. Excluded from the latest iteration of the health service restructuring. Beyond frustrating
Today @forsa_union_ie wrote to the Minister for Health asking for his direct intervention on the HSE decision to exclude HSCPs from the regional mgmt structure of the 6 new Health Regions. A short sighted decision that will inhibit delivery of Sláintecare. #TeamHSCPs #WeHSCPs

Couldn’t agree more
If I could only pick one thing to change about Irish Oncology, it would be the development of a functional EHR, that extended from the referral centre to the GP and to the patient. @QUBCancerProf is completely correct on this topic. It would save me hours per day. If I could pick two things, I would like to solve anti-cancer drug reimbursement. If I could pick three things, I’d have a PET CT scanner in every designated cancer centre. There are more things, I have a long list.

@DrSineadBrennan @IRROGTrials @hrbireland @cancertrials_ie @IRROGTrials just goes from strength to strength. All patients with cancer should have access to a clinical trial - the only way treatment and care will improve. Huge admiration to @DrSineadBrennan for championing this
