@Birduder344 @WRobinson7160 I've gained a lot of piloting knowledge from watching Aircrash Investigation. Unfortunately, that valuable memory space could have been used to remember why I walked into the kitchen.

@WRobinson7160 The one thing I know about props is that if they stop in flight, you have to feather the blades. I shall remind the pilot of this when I board. 🧑‍✈️

@cashandcarrots I'll be nipping over to the IoM for a few days. I last went in 2009—pretty sure that was on a Flybe Dash 8. As someone interested in aviation, I’m embarrassingly short on flights to reminisce about. All I have is a few minutes in the cockpit of a 767 at FL430.

@OKAYFINE_Music @DeborahClaireUK It is simple to explain, I learned about it back in 1980 during my A'level physics. Essentially a pressure disturbance in a saturated sky causing water vapour to momentarily condense. You can recreate it at home.
