You can create a player in 2k and you start out with a basically low rating which means your character is trash. You can put a lot of hours in to make your character better. Getting your character to a 92 takes a LONG time.

You do not have to work 60+ hour weeks for your collegiate program to be successful.
Being in charge of an entire program with multiple teams and no full-time help is NOT easy. Don't let people in the space flexing their work hours make you feel inadequate!
