This is the state of "HD" preservation that major studio media is in now. First a program to eliminate grain and now A.I. that does both that and just guesses what the image should maybe look like. And this is how it'll be unless it's stopped. Prints are rotting. Make it end.
I'd follow James Cameron almost anywhere but the new "A.I." remaster of TRUE LIES looks to be one of the most heinous remasters I've ever seen

So I popped in disc 3 of my Gundam Bluray set and my suspicions were true: Sunrise issued incorrect Blurays with unfinished footage including Milpo Sclint's design not being finalized yet. Frustrating but I heard they're starting a replacement program with discs that fixed this.

I got the complete Columbo box on Bluray! This set was exclusive to Japan, is the only official HD physical release of the complete series as far as I know, comes in a badass cigar box, and even has the Japanese script for the first episode!
