Before you cut off your wristband, consider reprogramming it! It's an excellent way to link your socials.
You can remove the wristband and resize it by squeezing the conical clip with some pliers, and use an app like NFC Tools (android) to reprogram the NFC chip.

My Zelda playstyle seems to involve finding really obtuse solutions to a basic puzzle in a shrine, realising the answer was several steps easier—and then having to re-enter the shrine anyway because my dumb construction rendered the chest inaccessible.
