A year later my unit was tasked with taking an entire container full of new riot shields and gear to the landfill.
This happens thousands of times a day in the military.

My wife is homeschooling.
I’m shy of my elementary Ed degree by student teaching. It’s all OTJ training as I learned nothing about how to teach in three and a half years of being in the education program. It simply was not taught.
