It’s funny that those of you who comment on my “feelings” and to grow up…wanting to feel safe while on the road is not a bad thing. Wouldn’t you want your mother, daughter, parent to feel safe too? Everyone has a right to feel safe on the road.

I'm researching the mines around Midlothian & the slave (& some 'free' men) labor to work these mines. And holy moly, looking at a map of how many mines are around this area is 😮. These went 700/800-feet deep in some places. Mules (and slaves to tend to them) lived underground.

Part of the reasons people want a car free Carytown (besides the 100 reasons) is that drivers don’t follow the law: they don’t stop for pedestrians at the crosswalks; they park in bus stops; and they speed.
Also, if you look down side streets, there is parking & unused lots.

Hey. This was my Dad. He was a lawyer & an actor & model and was able to appear on some shows like General Hospital, Moonlighting & show up on billboards and ads in LA. He died 23 years ago today. He was funny & loved to tell stories. But there was of course more to him/us.
