As we reflect on the 2023 National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, we must all be aware that this is a daily ongoing process. “Another way is to think about the term reconciliation, that it’s not just an act, it’s not a one-time thing but a lifelong commitment to unlearning”.
While people are encouraged to wear an orange shirt, how can Canadians go beyond that and engage more actively in truth and reconciliation? Global News spoke with five Indigenous people to get their thoughts.
