A new paper explores how NASA is considering the ethical, legal, and societal impacts (ELSI) of its Moon to Mars missions. The paper emphasizes the need for expanded dialogue with diverse stakeholders to consider the ELSI for responsible exploration - an approach that is central to the Interplanetary Initiative's mission of uniting people from all fields to pursue ideas and solutions that benefit life on Earth and beyond. ⭐Ethics Matter: Responsible behavior in space is a key part of NASA's Moon to Mars strategy and goals. ⭐Holistic Approach: ELSI is being woven into all aspects of exploration - science, inspiration, and international cooperation. ⭐Taking Action: NASA's been busy!
