The Analogue Pocket Game Gear adapter has no bevel and a sharp edge on the cartridge slot, which has already damaged the labels on 2 of my cartridges from a single insertion. I highly recommend beveling the edge yourself before use.

As a kid, I remember really disliking the look of Super Mario All-Stars the first time I saw it on a friend's SNES and I think I know why. It has way too much visual noise, especially with the backgrounds. The sky gradient also didn't match the style well.

I've started to decompile the Sega Mega Play arcade BIOS and I'm already seeing missing bits and some stuff that might be wrong on MAME. Hopefully, I can fix these up as I learn more. This probably explains why the second BIOS version fails to run games on MAME.
