Caleb Williams is such a natural passer. Cool, calm, effortless, compact release, rocket arm, laser precision and for those who need a running QB, he also checks that box. The Bears have never drafted a passer of his caliber. This is what breaking the cycle looks like. 🐻⬇️

This isn’t the answer. Most Bears fans scream they want more talent for Fields to work with. Then in the same breath say trade Montgomery. Not only is he a better runner, Monty’s pass pro is far superior than Herbert’s.

Now that the season is over, here is how J. Field ranks among his peers. Green is improvement, red is not. I think we all can agree, this isn’t anywhere close to the leap we were hoping for. With the Bears sitting in an advantageous position, there’s no better time to move on.

I don’t like the word “stole”, they earned that win today. The defense played hard nosed fast football, creating takeaways & making huge stops when needed. The offense wasn’t pretty but they hung in there, kept fighting, clawing & were in physical shape to finish the game.

1) Innocent until proven guilty
2) If guilty, he deserves the punishment a judge hands down to him

1) Elevate Bagent to QB2. He takes every avail. rep to come up to speed w/ the off.
2) Give Fields KC, Den & Wa to show a sliver of improvement.
3) If none, elevate Bagent to QB1 who starts Oct 15th @ home vs. the Viks.

Food for thought, the team that just won the Super Bowl traded for Von Miller. So my answer is no, you don’t trade away productive edge rushers because they’re much more pivotal to winning. If you can’t get after the QB in this league your team isn’t going anywhere.

If we’re being honest, does any available WR really change the outlook of the Bears offense? We have a first time HC, a new OC, a 2nd year QB w/ 10 GS under his belt entrenched in a total rebuild of the team. I don’t foresee this being a year that a FA WR makes a difference.

I’m tossed between C/LT. I feel they could get by with Whitehair at center. I don’t feel they should have a rookie playing LT with Fields poor pocket awareness. IMO, they need a solidified anchor.
