Caleb Williams is such a natural passer. Cool, calm, effortless, compact release, rocket arm, laser precision and for those who need a running QB, he also checks that box. The Bears have never drafted a passer of his caliber. This is what breaking the cycle looks like. 🐻⬇️
The Packers just lost by 3 pts to a SB favorite 49ers team, in the playoffs, in Loves 1st yr starting.
Here is Love’s 23’ season compared to Fields combined 22’ & 23’ seasons.
REMINDER: Ryan Poles, you promised we were taking the North & never giving it back. Fix this!
@scar179nyc
This isn’t the answer. Most Bears fans scream they want more talent for Fields to work with. Then in the same breath say trade Montgomery. Not only is he a better runner, Monty’s pass pro is far superior than Herbert’s.
Do I think our
#DaBears
are going to win today? No, but I’ve cheered for this team for nearly 40 years and I’m not about to stop now.
Can I get a BEAR DOWN??
Justin Fields literally has ONE 300 passing yd + 3 passing TD game in his entire 34 start career and this is the guy some want to build around? Semi retired 38 year old Joe Flaco comes off the couch and throws for 311/3TD…🤣
I’m actually excited to see Tyson Bagent get the start.
- Brings that⚡️
- Systematically fits what the 🐻 are trying to accomplish on offense
- Mechanically 🔊
- Throws on time/in 🥁
- Has good 🦶🦶
-🎮 the pocket
- Distributes the 🏈
- Deceivingly 🏃

For those thinking he’s only talking about Trubisky, Hicks QBs were:
Cutler
Barkley
Hoyer
Glennon
Tribisky
Daniels
Foles
Dalton
Fields
2018 was the only year he was selected to a Pro Bowl as was Trubisky.
@NFLonCBS
As passers:
1) Mac Jones
2) Trevor Lawrence
3) Zack Wilson
4) Justin Fields
As runners:
1) Justin Fields
-BIG GAP-
2) Zack Wilson
3) Trevor Lawrence
4) Mac Jones
Overall:
1) Trevor Lawrence
2) Mac Jones
3) Justin Fields
4) Zack Wilson
Tough start to 2023.
Damar Hamlin in critical condition after making a routine tackle, then quickly collapsed requiring AED & CPR on the field.
Jeremy Renner in critical condition after being ran over by his own snow plough.
Ken Block dies in snowmobile accident.
Now that the season is over, here is how J. Field ranks among his peers. Green is improvement, red is not. I think we all can agree, this isn’t anywhere close to the leap we were hoping for. With the Bears sitting in an advantageous position, there’s no better time to move on.
@robertkschmitz
I don’t like the word “stole”, they earned that win today. The defense played hard nosed fast football, creating takeaways & making huge stops when needed. The offense wasn’t pretty but they hung in there, kept fighting, clawing & were in physical shape to finish the game.
Chicago Bears offensive production vs. The Browns.
1) PUNT
2) PUNT
3) PUNT

5) TD
6) PUNT

8) PUNT
9) FG

15 possessions = 10 points
Bears fans keep telling me (almost 40 years as a Bears fan) to be patient, but yet a 4th rd. Bailey Zappe can come in, throw on time & in rhythm, have pocket presence, look the part & throw for 309/2TD/0Int/ 71comp %/118RTG in only his 2nd career start.

My man felt TO’s HOF aura and was shook from the jump.
So awesome for these legends to show love to the next generation and keep them working on possibly becoming one themselves.
Justin Fields says he learned some things from Watching Tyson Bagent that he can use to complement his game:
“Tyson, quarterbacks around the league, quarterbacks in college, we all play the game differently. Things that Tyson did well, definitely going to try to emulate that.”
@NagyToCFL
This kid has played well against 2 of the leagues top rushers. If there is something to get excited about beside the RB’s on this stale offense, it has to Borom these past 2 games.
@gridironborn
Updates with pics…BOOM! Keep them coming, you all at camp don’t know what these updates mean to us out of state fans that aren’t able to attend these practices.
#DaBears
The Head Coach of the Houston Texans is none other than Mr. Lovie Smith.
Best believe he’s had week
#3
circled since the scheduled came out. Don’t think for a sec. this game is going to be an easy win for the Bears.
@BShulkes
@ChicagoBears
I feel for the man but the player wasn’t injured on the job, nor as a Bear, so why is it the Bears responsibility to pay for his medical?
@BeerlyFootball
Yes with no hesitation. Name me 10 QBs over the past 4 yrs that have passed for 16,387 yds, 124 TDs, 36 ints, 68 comp % & a passer rating of 103.
@AdamHoge
@NextGenStats
Khalil Mack consistently gets double teamed and held, this means he’s doing something. Why the others can’t get to the QB is the real head scratcher.
My opinion on the Roquan Smith accusation:
1) Innocent until proven guilty
2) If guilty, he deserves the punishment a judge hands down to him
3) If not, his accuser should face the same judicial system for false accusations & deserves the punishment a judge hands down to her
@ajdavis22800
Of course. Did you read my response or just comment before reading?
My point was he barely made the cut by .2 and ranks near the bottom in the very metric you were referencing, trying to insinuate he’s not a bad passer because he’s not on the list.
I’m done with class, this doesn’t mean shit to me. Over the past 20 meetings the Bears have only won 2 games. Let that sink in.
We were promised the Bears were “taking back the north & never giving it back.”
Fields, you’re 0-5 against the Packers, we want wins, not apologies.
I thought it was classy when Justin Fields took ownership, apologized to his teammates and then looked dead into the camera and apologized to
#Bears
Fans for today’s loss.
Now I’m not saying Darnell Wright gets a pass here, or that this loss is ALL on Fields, but it is the QBs responsibility to protect the football. Especially with the game on the line.
@PFF
Kinda funny that he threw for 4,581 yds, 26 td, 11 Int & a rating of 93.3 and the quote is “I think he’s going to have a bounce back season”. The bar is set high for Mr.Ryan.
@jacobinfante24
I love all the excuses, it’s April, no receivers yada, yada, yada. As a fan base why can’t we just be OK with he’s simply going into his 2nd year and rough times are to be expected?
@JDBuffone
Riddick is just mad the Bears didn’t bring him in for an interview.
I get many don’t think the Bears will be that good, it’s understandable, but worst team in the league? Not even close.
@wiltfongjr
@peta
But he plays for the Bears. I can’t imagine peta being ok with using an animals likeness without it’s permission and for personal gain…🤣
@jacobinfante24
• Most Overrated: Tarik Cohen
• Most Underrated: Cairo Santos
• Best Player: Khalil Mack (1B R. Smith)
• Key New Addition: Tevin Jenkins (argument could be made for AD)
• Could Surprise: Damien Williams
• Takes a Leap: Darnell Mooney
• Prove-it Year: Robert Quinn
If I’m Poles, this is my immediate plan of action.
1) Elevate Bagent to QB2. He takes every avail. rep to come up to speed w/ the off.
2) Give Fields KC, Den & Wa to show a sliver of improvement.
3) If none, elevate Bagent to QB1 who starts Oct 15th @ home vs. the Viks.

@FDSportsbook
As passers, these two share more characteristics than most would think. With that said, I’ll take Justin Fields for his athleticism, toughness and work ethic.
The Bears defense is 👀 much better on paper this season.
LBs:
T.J. Edwards
T. Edmunds
J. Sanborn
DBs:
J. Johnson
K. Gordon
E. Jackson
J. Brisker
If they can muster a pass rush, they might be able to turn things around. I’m getting pumped to 👀 yr 2 of the rebuild.

Most Bears fans are in their feelings about what Colin Cowherd said in this clip. Let’s put our feeling a side for a second and actually listen to the facts presented. Now can anyone definitively show me where he’s wrong?
@BackRowBear
@BearsNationCHI
Elite?
The Pats O-line is ranked 19th in PB grade and 13th in PB win rate.
The Bears O-line is ranked 20th in PB grade and 14th in PB win rate.
So much for that narrative.
@CHGO_Bears
@thecarm
@CHGO_Sports
When the team is in a historical 13 gm losing streak, we have every right to BOO. We can sit here & say Fields is a good dude, works hard..blah blah blah. Some of us want WINS. QB is arguably the biggest contributing factor towards that, he hasn’t & isn’t getting the job done.
@RossRead
There is literally no aspect of the offense that backs this up. The receivers are getting open, the running backs are the entire offense and the OL is blocking well above expectations. It’s ok to place the blame where it belongs, the QB.
@robertkschmitz
Food for thought, the team that just won the Super Bowl traded for Von Miller. So my answer is no, you don’t trade away productive edge rushers because they’re much more pivotal to winning. If you can’t get after the QB in this league your team isn’t going anywhere.
The league has a new cutdown procedure this year. Tomorrow will be the first of three cutdowns to get to the 53 man roster.
8/16 - 90 to 85 players
8/23 - 85 to 80 players
8/30 - 80 to 53 players

@CEmma670
Say want you want about Trubisky, but the kid works his tail off and always take the high road. The best thing for him and his career would be to get as far away from chicago as possible.
@BearsNationCHI
If we’re being honest, does any available WR really change the outlook of the Bears offense? We have a first time HC, a new OC, a 2nd year QB w/ 10 GS under his belt entrenched in a total rebuild of the team. I don’t foresee this being a year that a FA WR makes a difference.
@BearsNationCHI
I was home sick with the chicken pox as a boy, turned on the tv & saw a man running w/ the football. He made it look so effortless but yet his displayed of speed & power instantly made me a fan. That man was the Chicago Bears own Walter “sweetness” Payton. Been a fan ever since.
@BearsNationCHI
I’m tossed between C/LT. I feel they could get by with Whitehair at center. I don’t feel they should have a rookie playing LT with Fields poor pocket awareness. IMO, they need a solidified anchor.
C - Ryan Jensen
LT - Terron Armstead
The thing I will give the Houston Texans organization props for is they recognized that Davis Mills wasn’t good enough to compete for titles. They knew you can’t hit a home run if you’re scared to swing for the fences.
Mills - TYDS 5,934/ TTD 35
Fields - TYDS 5,675/ TTD 34
@AdamHoge
That Fields doesn’t spin the ball like he’s capable of & takes a sack for a loss bringing up 2nd and long putting the team in an unmanageable down and distance.
@Sulleymon
This is what I don’t get about some fans, they’ll clamor over a guy that has literally done nothing in the NFL but then say “he’s pretty good but he’s replaceable” to a guy that has back to back AP selections. You might want to go look and see who has the most tackles since 2018.
@BearsNationCHI
Overall as a group, I’d say TE. Seems like the Bears are banking on Kmet being able to take the next step. If that doesn’t pan out, behind him the chart looks bleak.
@PowellAnalytics
I mean does anyone really top Patrick Mahomes sophomore season? 5,097 passing yards, 50 passing touchdowns, 12 ints, 114 rating, PB & 1st AP.
