SCBC 2201 formed up last Monday on their next stage in becoming Corporals in the British Army. Starting on the Skill at Arms under IWD the fundamentals are the same and will challenge many of them to be the best they can be whilst on course and beyond!
This week saw the conclusion of !SCBC! 2001. The students completed an arduous tactics course culminating in a final exercise at Caerwent. Congratulations to our top student LCpl H.

Dering Lines fell silent this morning to remember those who fought and fell at the Battle of Mandalay; smaller than usual, spaced out, but still a fitting tribute. Our training support division has long-held the battle honour as its name.

Well as the actual Unit we'll comment: The fact is the standard has not changed. All trainees who failed the Risk Reduction Exercise were Returned To Unit. Women in Ground Close Combat is a distraction; females have already passed Brecon tests.
