I don’t care if it’s cheesy. If Kong beats Skar King and becomes the new leader of the apes there’s no better time to have a character name drop “King Kong”
These apes all clearly live in fear of the Skar King. I can’t wait to see how Kong’s story unfolds. All those years alone without any other apes like him only to find them all living in fear like this. I think this has potential to be really good.

Episode 6 was sooo good. I love seeing Monarch’s history and it feels like we’re starting to build to the climax battle.
Imo this is the best Godzilla VFX we’ve gotten in the Monsterverse since 2014. I love them wobbly dorsal plates.

is a thrill ride! I didn’t expect so many battles and Kaiju. I love how much story it adds to Kong and Hollow Earth.
Godzilla takes more of a side role but there’s enough surprising moments with him to keep me happy.
Felt like an early 2000’s Godzilla throwback!

Humans/story could of course be better but I kinda respect how straightforward and focused on the monsters it is. I’ll never not have fun watching it.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Godzilla get some hits in on the final fight. My boy got WHOOPED to the point I started laughing.

Kong’s birthday has me remembering how floored I was as a kid watching the first 2005 trailer.
Having only seen Kong in either stop motion or a man in a suit this was next level. Skull Island really looked like the land that time forgot.

I love this scene, and maybe I’m just dumb, but I never got why the mushroom cloud happened.
Did Godzilla’s breath cause it? Could he create a nuclear explosion again if he wanted? It seems like it would be a big thing but it’s never mentioned after this.
