@historyinmemes This is Surya Bonaly, who was one of my favorite skaters. A tremendous athlete who sometimes was affected by the jitters. She'd blown her routine in this competition, and knew she couldn't medal, so she said f it, and did the backflip for the audience. It was great fun to watch.
