Preach!!
In all my years of being involved in AAU, when picking a CLUB here are 3 extremely important things to consider: 1- Surround yourself with people who have Integrity, Purpose, and a Passion to teach the game the right way. The Coaching and Reputation of an organization matters. 2- Stay away from empty promises. Picking a club should NOT be a high pressure situation. If it sounds too good to be true or people make it seem like this is the ONLY path forward for you. They are lying to you. Plain. And. Simple. 3- Your growth and path as a player is directly related to your work ethic. You need to put time and attention to your game. You need to work outside of team trainings. You need to invest heavily in the weight room. Clubs can facilitate opportunities, but the true focus should always rely on the individual and your desire to improve. Keep. Stacking. Days.
