This is such a problem especially in the modern game, got to get out and get that exposure. I played 100 games at Step 6, then moved up to Step 5 and played 150 games and then moved up to Step 4 and have played 150+ games, be patient.
Read an article about young GKs, sitting on bench, no game time,get to 24/25 and no experience, happening a lot.
Poorly advised imho, game time is more important than the badge, those playing at 18/19 are the future experienced GKs, not those sitting on the bench, go play!

Sometimes you've got to drop down the levels, to work your way back up. I started at Chesham (Step 3) on the bench, not playing, dropped down to Step 6, then moved up to Step 5 (Tring) then Step 4 (Aylesbury United). Keepers need to play, it's that simple no matter the level.
