I joined security officials and residents of Ardahalo in tree planting exercise as part of today's National Tree Planting Day. I also took part in the inauguration of the new Assistant Chief of Ardahalo. I urge Kenyans to keep planting more trees for a greener and safer future.

Today, I had the privilege to undertake development initiatives comprising of the groundbreaking for Dandu Girls Sec. School, Launch of 2023/24 Bursary Program with 35M budget and commissioning of Dandu Junior Sec. School. Engaged with the community, prioritizing their concerns.

We need to address the lack of compliance with Article 54(2) of the Constitution on Employment of Persons with Disabilities in Public Institutions. Current representation at 2.1% falls short of the 5% threshold. I moved a motion to address this for an equal & all inclusive Kenya.

Every retired public servant should have the right to promptly receive their pension. It is imperative to prioritize enhancing the PSC's reputation as the country's oldest employment institution. However, no individual should serve in an acting capacity for more than six months.
