Congratulations to Vera Schaufeld who has been deservedly awarded an MBE for her inspirational and unerring services to Holocaust education. Vera helped establish our Centre, which is the only one dedicated to Holocaust remembrance and education in the UK
Vera Schaufeld has dedicated her life to teaching adults and children with little or no knowledge of the English language.
Today Vera, who first came to England in 1939 on the Kinderstransport, received her MBE for services to Holocaust Education, from The Duke of Cambridge.
