@gunsnrosesgirl3 Quickest way to tell if a pearl is natural is to rub it against your teeth, or nibble it slightly. If it's slightly gritty it's probably natural, if it's super smooth it's probably fake. Works on salt and freshwater pearls. You can also look down the stringhole with a lens.

@nother_fella2 @gunsnrosesgirl3 Yep, this is wrong on so many levels. Terminal velocity at sea level is different to terminal velocity at the Earth core too, you'd slow down a lot more. And I wonder if the spin off the earth would change your trajectory so you get squashed against the wall?

@retrobike_c16 @taipan168 Yeah okay, so it's about 1820 for FY 23. Not heaps and it's only a two year pause. There isn't a silver bullet so it's going to need lots of small policies to create an effect, this is a start, albeit a small one.

But on average banks, airlines, insurers and the credit card interchange are all making good profits from credit card point systems. That profit comes from fees paid at the counter.
