@jacobin At this point I wouldn’t even oppose a complete repeal of the DMCA. That law has become so abused at this point that we would be better off if it were repealed. It’s only even used by big corporations to squeeze more money out of people through frivolous lawsuits.

@DiscussingFilm there was a noticeable decline in piracy when streaming services started to grow, since it made things much easier. the streaming wars are just gonna lead to a revert back to the old way, since that ease of use is gone because people keep pulling their shows from netflix. its not.
