@marybartkowski1 @AP That’d be an epic dunk if the judge said that POTUS couldn’t do an audit. But that’s not what he’s doing. He’s stopping the use of the money. He wants to stop spending and then retroactively justify the stop of the money. If it was an audit first, it’d be fine.

@tiggietigger @esjesjesj If he means federal sure but state judges are elected positions and lots of circuit judges are also elected. Do you fire them and they just run for election again? Do you fire them and impeach them so they can’t get elected? What did he mean by “elected bodies”?

If the program is cancelled then maybe you could use the savings to bail out the farmers but that’s a zero sum game. If it isn’t cancelled then the beans already rot.

Exterior AND interior being repainted 3. A historic building (stuff with those is just more expensive) Outside of those 3 things at once I have no clue

Which they have to do because federal payroll includes CIA and US spies. No one in DOGE has any level of security clearance and they can’t get them because the head of DOGE has ties with enemy nations.
