Excited to unveil The Living Wage for Musicians Act, a proposed law headed to Congress that I've been working on with @UMAW_! It would greatly increase artist streaming pay, and it's sponsored by 2 of my political heroes @JamaalBowmanNY & @RashidaTlaib!
HUGE NEWS. I've been working with @UMAW_ to develop a new music streaming law sponsored by @JamaalBowmanNY & @RashidaTlaib! The Living Wage for Musicians Act would put aside a % of the $ collected by music streaming services and pay it as an additional royalty direct to artists!
