Unbelievably it's 25 years since we were founded. To celebrate we've made this film with @MattMaranPhoto about what we do on @CityCorpHeath. We're proud to share this with you all as a fitting end to #volunteerweek

Thanks to @BridgeAcademyE2 for coming to volunteer on Hampstead Heath today! Two great groups who learned about how Heath Hands volunteering programmes help @CityCorpHeath colleagues look after the green spaces and got stuck into some practical hedgerow conservation work!

Couldn't agree more - this is #WorldWetlandsDay - and these habitats are essential for biodiversity (and people). Check out our walk on 23rd Feb to discover the River Fleet:
The UK has a diverse range of freshwater habitats, from ditches and fens to streams and ponds, home to a range of plants and animals. 💙 Visiting a wetland can also be a fantastic way to connect with nature and benefit from the sense of calm that it brings. #WorldWetlandsDay

Site closures expected this weekend due to high wind - including at Highgate Wood, Kenwood, Golders Hill Park, the Hill Garden and the swimming ponds…and our activities are all cancelled to keep everyone safe… hopefully calmer weather next weekend!
High winds of over 40mph gusts are forecast all day on Sat 7 Dec and Sun 8 December. As a result, Golders Hill Park, the Hill Garden and Pergola may need to remain closed for the safety of visitors. We'll keep an eye on the forecast and if anything changes we'll update here.
