Hazelwood West High School senior, Hannah Friedrich was recently awarded a full-ride athletic scholarship worth nearly $200,000 to Saint Louis University to continue her soccer career.
Due to the extreme weather, Hazelwood School District administrators have made the decision to close all Hazelwood schools and cancel all after-school activities on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019.

Tonight, the Board reached a consensus to have all students continue attending school virtually. Additionally, the Board reaffirmed its decision not to have students participate in athletics until there is a transition to in-person instruction. The next meeting is Oct. 20.
