Is it too late to backtrack on the employer NI hikes? @HMRCgovuk @hmtreasury Why not tax dividends instead by 0.25% pa in stock ISAs? Unlimited tax free growth and tax free dividends in ISAs is too generous in a time of austerity. @RachelReevesMP @EdwardJDavey @HMRCpressoffice

My February monthly column for @FTAdviser has caused quite a bit of heated discussion on X. So good to see people really engaged with the gender pay gap but pensions for both men and women for many are inadequate. The AE legal minimum lulls people into a false sense of security.

@aj2squared @dontdelay @FTAdviser Typical of the time! Suspect prejudice still exists even today but it is more subtle.

@dontdelay @ONS @nowpensions Very insightful comments from the advisory frontline rather than my somewhat 'ivory tower' idealism.@HMRC @hmtreasury @DWP Do you realise how pensions tax law can hinder equality?

@dontdelay @ONS @nowpensions Thanks for all your posts - hope they will drive traffic to my FtAdviser Opinion Column and get people to think about the issues raised therein. So rare to get people really engaged!

@dontdelay @FTAdviser Anecdotal experience can be powerful in an opinion column. I am not writing a CPD. Things have improved- in my 30s a headhunter asked 'me did I have boyfriend ?' Proxy question for was I going to buzz off and have children? Most impertinent too.

Thank you @SuttonCouncil for the benches in #Carshalton High St. Please can you replace the one outside Costa Cafe? Unlike the others,it faces the oncoming traffic so you can see the buses from afar. it is in a dangerous state of repair : use development fund? @Bobby_Dean

A lady of a certain age looked wistfully at these sparkly tights for children in @sainsburys For adults only dull colours like boring black and navy blue in are local store. Are Sainsbury's missing a trick here?. Glitter and sparkle for adults too?

@dontdelay @ONS Hi David, Thanks for your interest in my Opinion this month - it is intended to be a talking point and certainly is this month. Two sources for you on the 7 years figure: Harvard Medical School and @nowpensions Gender Pay Gap report - I accept ONS is a better source for the UK.

@fcmad1960 @dontdelay @FTAdviser The operative word is 'proven' very easy to interview someone and simply say : 'we have found someone who more closely matches our requirements'. It takes a brave person to challenge that rejection.
