(The deceased hears speech and knows his visitor on Friday before the rising of the sun) [as] said by Ahmed.

The Hanbalis and Shafa'is said it's legislated and valid. Al-Mardawi mentions in al-Insaf that one makes the intention to do so...with the evidence of the prayer of the Prophet SAS for a-Najashi.
Abu Ubayda al-Qasim bin Salam said: Knowledge is traced to four- Ahmed bin Hanbal, Ali bin al-Madini, Yahya bin Ma'een and Abu Bakr bin Abi Shayba and Ahmed bin Hanbal was the most knowledgeable of them.
Tabaqaat al-Hanaabila
There's nothing in the dunya better for scholars than to save money to be independent from people; and if it's combined with knowledge, it's the embodiment of perfection.
Ibn al-Jawzi from Sayd al-Khatir
So, he traveled to teach in Medina surrounded by the light of Al-Mustafa SAS. Our Sheikh, the Doctor, said “We have been living in blessings of those two years until now,” and his eyes were shedding tears.
The Tasawwuf of Sh. Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani RA
Sh. Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani RA said "Every 'truth' for which the Sharia doesn't bear witness to is heresy" (Fath a-Rabani). And he said "Fly to the Haqq, the Mighty and Majestic, with the wings of the Book and the Sunna" (al-Ghunya).
Where are the Hanabila?
The madhab has spread in this time to some of the villages around Damascus like Duma, Dhumair and Ruhaiba, and in Palestine such as the villages of Nablus and Tulkarm, and in the Hejaz, al-Ahsaa' and Najd...
And some of them dislike it.
The issue is expansive, so he who wants to observe it, there's no objection if he avoids munkarat."

The madhab of Imam Ahmed is a madhab of great value, because of his knowledge of what the Messenger SAS brought and his following of him, and his knowledge of the traditions of the Sahaba and Tabi'een. There is good in all madhabs of the Muslims.
Ibn Taymiyya
"مذهب الإمام أحمد مذهب عظيم القدر؛
لعلمه بما جاء به الرسول، واتباعه له،
ومعرفته بآثار الصحابة والتابعين،
وفي كل مذاهب المسلمين خير".

Ruling of cutting/removing the hair, nails and skin for the one who wants to make sacrifice for Eid al-Adha
Once the 10 days of Dhul-Hijja start, it's HARAM for the one slaughtering or having someone slaughter on his behalf to remove anything from his hair, nails, or skin.
The mahr for woman in marriage is preferred to be 400-500 dirhams (silver). Taking into account the higher value of silver in the time of the Prophet ﷺ, it's equal to about $1,700-$1,800 today.

How to perform the kusoof (solar eclipse) prayer
The prayer consists of two raka's however there are two rukooa' (bowing) in each raka'.
- One starts the prayer like a regular prayer including kakbeer al-ihram (opening), dua' to start the prayer, and seeking refuge in Allah.
Our Sheikh, Mufti of Yemen, al-Qadhi Muhammad bin Isma'il al-Amrani RA was asked: Is boycotting the products of countries that insulted the Messenger of Allah SAS, j-h*d for the sake of God?
He replied: Boycotting the mentioned countries is obligatory.
سئل شيخنا مفتي اليمن القاضي محمد بن إسماعيل العمراني:
هل مقاطعة منتجات الدول التي أساءت إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم جهاد في سبيل الله؟
فأجاب: المقاطعة للدول المذكورة واجبة.

Safarini said: (The scholars) differed of the (ruling of) interc*urse: does the woman have a right for it or not?

Sharh Thulaatiyyaat
Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Qudama said, explaining Imam Malik's response to the person who asked about al-istawa (الإستوى): "the question about it is bida'"- Because it's a question about something that there's no way of knowing, and it's not permissible to speak of it...
