Hamza Taouzzale, the Lord Mayor of Westminster, is the youngest ever and first Muslim to hold the ceremonial role, which serves as a good-will ambassador for Westminster and its residents. The post outranks many of London's most powerful and privileged.

Hi all
Please keep my Grandmother in your thoughts and prayers. She is currently in hospital and her cancer has progressed a lot. She is currently receiving palliative care. It truly is a horrible illness to witness a loved one suffer from.
Thank you.
Hi all
My grandfather has just passed away. If you can keep him in your thoughts and prayers that would be greatly appreciated.

A year with both its ups and downs just as every year gone by before. I was privileged enough to complete my year as Lord Mayor in which I summed up almost a 1000 events, ranging from the Loyal Address at Buckingham Palace to the Coronation Street parties in Westminster and of

The residents of Westminster have put their faith in Labour to lead the council. It is an honour and a privilege. We will work every day to build a fairer Westminster.
It’s an honour to be have been awarded the Local Communities Impact Award in this year’s Kings Distinguished Alumni Awards!🏆 Between 2020-21 I did my MSc in Global Affairs!!!👨🏽🎓
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kings and I’m glad to have been back many times since!🎉🎉🎉
The Local Communities Impact award recognises a King’s graduate who has made an outstanding impact within one of King’s home boroughs.
We celebrate

Saddened by the news that’s come out regarding His Majesty the King, this evening. Wishing him a speedy recovery against his battle with cancer. An issue I am, unfortunately, far too familiar with.

Westminster Council is finally going to have a system that monitors racist comments on planning applications before they are posted!!! Finally and about time!!!
Before this, racist comments were seen by all before they were deleted!

Will miss you loads Barrie💔
Can’t put in words what this loss means.
Was there for me from the very beginning and always believed in me❤️
It’s gonna be different without you mate😔🕊️🕊️🕊️
For all those who knew him, Barrie Taylor died peacefully this morning after a long illness. Father to 3 beloved children and 3 equally beloved grandchildren, Westminster councillor, alderman, a dedicated public servant with a lifetime of service in the NHS. Loved and missed.
Really proud of all the students at Pimlico Academy who stood up for what’s right. They took the fight to their institution and opposed both the oppressive and racist policies the school tried to impose.

Get well soon Kate🙌🏽
Two dead in two days.
Just think about that for a second, or actually think about it for a lot longer... our young people are dying day by day and what are we doing to help stop and prevent these things from happening
When will it be enough?...
What a treat to celebrate Eid at

Absolutely appalled about what I saw when I visited my Gran who is a disabled resident in Lisson Green.
Her living room and bathroom was left in the state below...

We expect better...🙁
It’s now 8 days in which we haven’t had any hot water or heating at home. It’s slightly ridiculous to be honest.
Every time someone comes they never seem to have the right equipment...
Let’s hope that changes today🥶
