Today, Mr Smith paid his respects at 17

graves at Buchanan on the shores of Loch Lomond in the Scottish Highlands. The headstones are made of Granite, not white Portland stone, to withstand the weather conditions.
No act of remembrance is too small.

Hall Mead were officially represented at the 51,590 Menin Gate Service last night by Ms Read, Kane and Ellie who laid a Poppy wreath in honour to all those who died for our freedom. The wreath was laid on behalf of the entire Hall Mead community

Hill 60. There was fierce fighting here during the First World War, and the hill changed hands between the Germans and the Allies several times. Both sides also dug tunnels and planted mines underneath the hill 💥
