PSA: Rocket League physics had a slight change.
WHAT: A very minor difference in steering behaviour. The cars have slightly less strong response in the first ticks but tighter turning overall. As you can see in the pic this should be nearly unnoticeable. (≈1%)

The Formula 1 2021/2022 cars 🏎️ are no longer of the Dominus hitbox type. They got a new variant based on the Plank. But they're different from the Plank as well.

what is going on here? Since Patch 2.18, all of the sudden some jump inputs are randomly being ignored. I even bought a new mouse cause I assumed it was broken, but I checked now, and it turns out the engine sees the input but still doesn't jump.

For those that missed the stream: I did confirm

's findings on my end. The curves on those maps are different. Furthermore, I found a difference in the floor that only affects the car and is likely too small to be noticeable by humans (probably sticky force related).

I noticed it was really hard to get a setup on the corners on Farmstead and Forbidden Temple, so I ran some tests. Made a training pack and this is the speed that the balled rolled off the wall at. It confirmed my suspicions. I'm not the only person affeced by this.

Do you ever spam boost before you do a kickoff? I've had a similar bug with jump since a recent patch and it happens usually when spamming the jump button too fast. Personally, I only had the issue with jumps though.

A soft/hard reset always makes >matchmaking< less accurate. 99.9% of the playerbase are at the rank they belong and those that aren't bought a boost and can do so again.
The only purpose is to give new goals to grinders stagnating, and to prevent inflation for rank rewards.

you might have so much trouble with speed flips because everyone explains them wrong. You shouldn't point the analog stick in the opposite direction to cancel, you should point it straight down cause you're trying to cancel the forward roll

PSA for every pro who still does this: The car has a maximum speed and walldashing here does literally nothing except risk falling off the wall. In general, if you're often doing more than 2 dashes, you aren't doing it right.

You could be the best player in the world without knowing how to half flip. Doesn't mean it's a good decision to not learn it. You'll have to make up for that by being better at other things.

travels from one side to the other within one tick then the game doesn't think that there was contact. It's known as tunneling. This is more likely to happen at higher speeds. But as you yourself found out at high speed it can still hit it if the alignment happens to work out.

Just to give a little bit of understanding:
It's a ranking based system, so it will punish any loss. KC losing to Suhh loses them a lot but they'll be 1st if they go 3-0 in swiss, let alone win the regional. G2 gets fewer points for each win than EU teams, but they win more.
