That's how issues should be handled.
Today, I am attending the EAC-SADC joint summit in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, which focuses on the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). My earlier proposal for this summit was that H.E. Tshisekedi should speak directly to those who are in conflict with him, as this impacts all of us. There is no other forum better suited to address this issue than this summit. I therefore hope for a fruitful discussion.

I have arrived in Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania this evening, in the company of Hon. @MusaliaMudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, ahead of the joint EAC-SADC Heads of States Summit on the security situation in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. High Commissioner of Kenya to Tanzania Amb. @Amb_IsaacNjenga was on hand to receive us.

The Chair EAC Council of Ministers. The Council of Ministers is the central decision-making and governing organ of the EAC Additionally, the current Chairperson of the EAC Summit is President William Ruto of Kenya, who was elected to this position in November 2024.
Rt. Hon. Joseph Ntakirutimana, Speaker of East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), together with EALA MPs Hon. @kaninikega1, Hon. @FalhadaIman and Hon. Godfrey Mwangi Maina, paid me a courtesy call this morning. We discussed the budgetary challenges being faced by the East African Legislative Assembly and, in my capacity as the Chairperson of the EAC Council of Ministers, I assured the Speaker and his team of my full support to EALA in carrying out their mandate as an Assembly. While acknowledging continued support from the Kenyan legislators at EALA, the Speaker pledged his commitment to support the Council of Ministers in passing legislation that will help to fast track the EAC integration process. We agreed to hold regular consultative meetings bringing together all the organs of the East African Community in pursuit of regional integration. Integration secretary Dr. @aliceyalla was present. @EA_Bunge

The South African Defense Minister and Chief of SANDF confirms what Rwanda has been saying: Rwanda didn't target SANDF. FARDC and its coalition fired rockets at Rwanda from the airport base ans Rwanda fired back. SANDF contacted RDF and RDF asked SANDF to demarcate its position. The shelling stopped. Why was SA politicians playing unnecessary lying game and performing public outrage?
