We have something INCREDIBLE to share! An SGTG pupil in Year 4 has donated 13 inches of her hair going to the Little Princess Trust! But not only that - she also raised nearly £600 of donations! We are incredibly proud of you - you've selflessly improved the life of another! 💇♀️
Today we say goodbye to our Y6 young people. We’re so proud of you. You’ve represented us so well, shared and promoted our values, have been wonderful role models and have high aspirations. Aim high and follow your dreams.
Democracy came alive today with our y6 visiting the Houses of Parliament. They were fortunate to meet the Speaker, John Bercow - what an experience

Today the whole school took part in our remembrance assembly led by Rev Jim Bennett, our Head Boy and Head Girl. We then marked our two minutes silence, standing together as a school community respecting those who had died and hoping for peace in the future.

The redevelopment of the playground is progressing really well with resurfacing now complete. The removal of the portacabins and Early years fencing has created so much space. The hall and classrooms are so much brighter. Can’t wait for the climbing frames ...
Our reception children are road safety specialists! During their wheels day they learnt lots of the rules of the road. Thanks parents for joining them.
Here at Slade Green, we are proud to say No way! to bullying and Yes please! to diversity. Wearing odd socks helped kick off our anti-bullying week by reminding us: everyone's different and that's the way we like it!

Monday morning is special as we celebrate children’s achievement in our bubble assemblies. This week we’ve also talked about our school values with a focus on mutual respect.
What a transformation and very nearly there. Can’t wait for the new academic year to see the children’s reactions and to have so many opportunities for outdoor learning. Remember we start back on Monday 2nd September at 8.40am.
Thank you
@SladeAugustine

Goodbye and good luck to our year 6. You’ve made us so proud by achieving the best sats results that we’ve ever attained,but are also young adults with ethics and values prepared for secondary school and beyond. With ¾ of you joining Crayford academy the future is looking bright.
What a special afternoon celebrating Mrs Addley! Tomorrow she retires after working in this school for 16 years! Each bubble gave her a separate performance showing how they have appreciated her support through their whole school journey so far. Mrs Addley - you'll be missed! 💐
Last breakfast. Dave, the kitchen manager has already made me cry this morning: most polite group in the 8 months he’s been here 🥰 Parents and carers, we’re looking forward to seeing you this afternoon!

So difficult selecting the names for our Houses. House Captains and our school council worked together to shortlist ideas. Great contributions and after voting the new houses will be announced on Friday.
