The people of York have raised nearly £100,000 to save Severus Hill, a designated wildlife sanctuary in the heart of the city, from development. Such a fabulous expression from the community. You can still donate.

@OVOEnergy There is a wider issue here - not just for my family member. It should not have happened in the first place. The whole algorithm that the Ovo system uses needs reviewing to reflect reality…how many others have you forced into an unnecessarily high DD that they can’t afford 🤷♀️

@OVOEnergy They sorted it by paying £50 rather than allowing you to more than double DD. Imagine if they couldn’t afford £50? There’ll be others this is happening to who can’t afford the top up payment. No justification to more than double these DDs when we’re heading out of winter!

@OVOEnergy this is unacceptable & unethical …& only avoided by an extra payment of £50. Do the maths, it doesn’t add up, if they’d not had £50 you expected them to pay an extra £83 a month?! 2/2
