Couldn’t make this up if we tried. This morning at 10:30 am, a driving instructor was stopped 85/50 (5 km/h from Stunt driving) on Lakeshore Rd along the beach. A student was in the passenger seat, having just failed a driving test. $265 ticket with 4 points for the instructor

This driver admitted to intentionally cutting a hole in the exhaust pipe before the muffler to make it louder. When asked if the driver cared about annoying people in the community they stated It’s not about them, it’s about me. I like it this loud. Driver charged accordingly.

Halton Police thanks the citizens that assisted our officers yesterday on Brant St. Working together, Police and citizens lifted a car up off of a senior citizen whose leg was stuck under a wheel, a result of exiting the car without it being in Park. Only minor injuries. ^kb

Police stopped a vehicle for having the passenger side windows fully covered in snow. The driver then drove into a snow bank. The driver received a ticket and the officer helped push the car out of the snow bank. Drivers need to clean the snow off their car windows! <gk2675
