Our security teams work hard to keep our prison safe for both staff and prisoners. New laws will now make it an offence for anyone to upload videos, audio recordings and photographs taken in prison to social media. Read more ⬇️

We hosted a successful visit from GXO Logistics this week, involving a really productive and informative chat with prisoners around employability on release. Great to have contacts on board that are able to offer more diverse opportunities and career guidance for leaving custody

How does money in prison work? Prisoners are not allowed to use cash in prison, but they have a prison money account that you can send money in to and which their prison wages are paid into. Any money they came into prison with is also put into this account.

As we progress the project we will hopefully be able to increase the opportunity of women accessing Release on Temporary Licence (RoTL) to do both paid work and voluntary placements in the local community and beyond.

2/2 the chefs for Delta, giving an opportunity to cook a dish served in their hotels. Prisoners loved the opportunity to engage, with positive feedback about how much hope and motivation this has provided them for their resettlement, Delta treated them so positively 🧑🍳😋🥘
