💚Today is #TimeToTalk day. We're encouraging staff to check-in with each other, start open conversations to break the stigma around mental health and promote support services.

We know it can be overwhelming for children visiting a loved one in prison. @POPSFamilies have produced a helpful booklet for children coming to visit their dad, which is available in the Visitor Centre. E-mail copies are also available, please ask when booking your visit.

We held a 3-day self-employment event with speakers providing practical advice and guidance for life upon release, which prisoners then put to the test in our own style of Dragons Den. Thank you @hmrcgovuk @hmpasties @inside_academy_ @tier1online @releasemates @newfutursnet 👏

Prisoners have been creating paper poppies in the library during their weekly visits. They have written messages of remembrance to the fallen and those who have served, expressing their thanks. Poppies are a powerful symbol of remembrance. #LestWeForget @PoppyLegion
