Today we give our Brother Sam London his final send off.While on vacation with his family,he tragically drowned doing what any parent or firefighter would do. This is what a hero looks like. RIP Brother, we will take it from here

An active member funeral today for Captain McKay. Cancer took him much to young, he was 51. Our deepest thoughts and sympathies to his family and friends.
One last thing. Another huge shoutout to all the firefighters, DNR, dispatchers, logistics, mechanical, other support personnel, allied agencies, and others who responded this week. Every call got answered, many lives and much property were saved due to this work. BZ to you all.

A sad day as firefighters, friends and family gather in Dartmouth for the funeral of fallen firefighter Kyle Currie, who passed away last week. The march was escorted by HRP and included the pipes and Drums, honour guard, and colleagues.
Our deepest condolences and sympathies go out to the family, friends of Constable Heidi Stevenson. Putting your own life up as collateral for the lives of complete strangers defines heroism. RIP Constable Stevenson.
The past week has been a busy one for our crews to say the least! Although we’re tired and beat up we will be there if you need us. Our business is 24 hrs, 7 days a week and 52 weeks a year. Again, we’re so proud of the crews our efforts make day in and day out!

This week Station 45 ( Fall River ) is now a “Core Station” this means that your Halifax Professional FireFighters will be staffing this station 24 Hrs a day, 7 Days a week for 52 weeks a year.
