I took a big risk stepping down from my previous utility job. I had no one to watch the boy while I worked & he needed me home more than the promotion allowed. I moved us to a different state. It’s been a very stressful 3 months but it is finally looking up🙏

The factory job I accepted before moving is temporary vs permanent unlike I was originally told. I got a different shift than I accepted as well as lower pay than I accepted. I have an interview with another company tomorrow. Better hours etc. here’s hoping 🤞

The boy wanted mini pigs in a blanket for breakfast . He’s always wanting to help in the kitchen so he’s making them. I get frustrated when he’s moving slow but I remember my mom wasn’t around to help me learn. That’s why I’m trying to improve my cooking skills now.

The boy was going to get the .22 for Christmas but a series of events came up. The most important was his behavior. I’m not rewarding him for acting disrespectful so it’s not an option for Christmas after all. If he can improve then in 5 months I’ll take him shopping for one.

Withdrew him today. We have an appointment Monday with a local private academy that does homeschooling hybrid. Tuition is only $300 per month. He will attend class 3hrs per day next year & complete his work at home each evening via homeschooling curriculum.

Tater tot casserole turned out pretty good. The boy helped me fix dinner and he wanted fresh corn. Not the original side I was going to choose but that’s ok. He then proceeded to beat me in a few rounds of Jenga🤷🏻♀️😊

Had a little rotisserie chicken left so I stripped it off the bone , cooked up 2 packs of the Knorr fettuccine noodles and added broccoli. Easy & quick meal to make. Garlic bread and side salad and everyone is happy 😊

I’m loving the new job. Talking with the guys at work today and mentioned how I want to put the boy in basketball this fall. The maintenance manager is the coach for basketball through our local rec center. Looks like the boy will start basketball this fall.

Submitted my resume yesterday and Hr reached out via email this morning. They have a hiring freeze until January but asked what shifts I’m looking for. I have a temp job lined up immediately after I arrive to float me through until the first job is ready to hire. 🤞🙏

Took my nephew (21) to his company Thanksgiving dinner tonight. It’s a bakery he volunteers at 2 days at week. A bakery for autistic adults to volunteer at. The joy & excitement from him on the way ….❤️❤️❤️. I’m so happy for him 🥹

Daniel just came to me about one of his buddies in the neighborhood not getting an Easter basket. He’s 6. So we just grabbed one and Daniel is playing Easter bunny & hiding eggs for this 6 year old little guy. He’s growing up & I’m proud of the compassion he’s showing.
