Met a Nigerian founder building a bank last week. Not a neobank, a straight bank. Listening to him during our conversation, I realised this is the kind of audacity I need to be surrounded by.

We've been in the game for 5 years and gone through iterations in search of the elusive product market fit. I believe we've finally found it in helping transporters and their clients with early invoice settlement. This manages our risk, has solid MRR and clients that make sense!

My goal this year is getting to 10 Million USD worth of monthly disbursements to clients to cut down the demand for credit within the logistics sector. Audacious AF but highly doable looking at the outstanding client loan book we have.
Personally, I'm tired of shouting about this. Y'all know what's up. Either you choose to be part of the solution or not, but let's not pretend to be shocked when such reports come out.
ANNOUNCEMENT!
We're excited to announce that we have secured our Credit Provider Certificate from the National Credit Regulator of South Africa! An amazing way to wrap up Q4 2022 and ensure that we start off 2023 with a bang! 🚀

My first startup at my exit had over 50 employees and counted Woolies,Shoprite,Checkers,Pick'n'Pay as clients. I've avoided speaking about it out of a misguided sense that I'd failed as I chose to make the decision to leave. Anyway, read about my experiences on the link below👇🏾

Hi gang! I'm going to be part of a panel of superstars in supply chain and finance discussing "Ensuring Competitiveness of Small Scale Truckers through providing access to working capital". The session is this Wednesday at 7 pm on Clubhouse. Room: SBC Afritech! See you there!
Roadshows are still a surprisingly effective way to get your message across to an extremely targeted demographic. From the session we held on Wed to just today, we've seen a significant jump in traffic both on and off platform which is extremely heartening. Onwards!✊🏾
I'm so grateful! Early 2021 was so bad I almost called my mum and asked to go back to Namibia to lick my wounds. Then the 2nd half of 2021 opened all the doors and 2022 looks to be amazing! Once again, having runway will make or break you.
As a Startup Founder 2019 has been a blend of both a shitshow and a testament that audacious tenacity works. My personal mantra for 2020 is "Operationalise It". Let go and trust your team to do their jobs. Growth cant be achieved with you hovering like a helicopter parent
For the fact that I've been running a logistics startup for the past 1 year with a clientele with various offerings such as flowers and cakes, this is the first time someone has ordered such a delivery on my behalf.
My desk has arrived! I can finally stop working from the kitchen counter and blurring my image during calls😂. Purchase credit to my best friend who took pity on me❤

Not everyone should be an entrepreneur. If you can get a steady job, please for the love of God, do so. The anxiety caused by uncertainty and the daily struggle to achieve KPI's may not be worth it.

Having to say no to possible investment, because it's not the best fit for you at the time, is even more painful because you're aware of how badly you NEED money.
Realising that I have pretty robust connections within Dev Finance agencies and some of Africa's premier continental organisations. Utilising them for other peoples benefit aside from Thumeza's seems to be the next step esp for startups who want access to that data.
