@jakobgreenfeld then I don't think you understand what meditation is. What you want is an impulsive life, not a rich one. When you sit down for long enough, meditation actually empowers you to live a richer, more fulfilling life, without becoming a slave to those triggers.

@jonbrosio 💯 it isn't about algorithms, it's about understanding the algorithm of the human mind.

@nathanbaugh27 It's like taking the scenic route in writing - you might slow down, but you'll discover nuances you'd miss on the speedway of typing. Great art often needs a pause.

@kaleighf also don't talk the talk but walk the walk, i.e., love how you repurpose your newsletter content into a tweet

@andst7 I am from Rome and none of my friends plan to have children. Many continue to live with their parents because they can't even afford to rent a place.

Quitting sugar transformed my relationship with food, bringing an awareness that taste isn't confined to sweetness
#Cancer is a complicated disease, but one thing is certain: these rapidly-growing cells are hungry (i.e., high #metabolic rate) and glucose fuels most of that growth. What happens when we sprinkle in high insulin? Perfect storm--the high insulin (like with #insulinresistance) signals greater growth, while the glucose fuels the growth. This recently-published manuscript highlights another complication--high insulin appears to make #breastcancer cells more resistant to commonly-used chemotherapeutics.

@OzolinsJanis @harrydry And be humble enough to embrace what you don't know. It's easy to fall into the "I know it all" trap once your teachings start getting attention.

@kaleighf Some of them don't even need a crash course. They just need to outline (many don't) what they need to say before they type a few words and soon get lost.

@austinbelcak 4. Ask questions others will enjoy answering (so you don't have the one speaking but also works great because listening is the best form of compliments)

@SahilBloom And it's worth the investment. A commitment to practicing deep work daily, over the course of a career, is the closest guarantee to: • success • happiness • a calm mind • compounding intelligence

@bydaveyji One thing that helped me a lot: don't call it an agency or introduce rigid systems. You can still run an empire by employing a small army of freelancers in the background and enjoy both the freelancing freedom and business scaling as delighting clients bring in more opportunities
