There was no warning. Had Uber sent out an email saying the walker program was ending in a few months, it would have allowed people to make alternative arrangements for employment.
So far, Uber hasn't even acknowledged that the delivery radius has shrunk.

Two of the most impactful Covid variants (Delta and Omicron) were detected in October and November.
Starting the trial in the fall makes sense just based on that alone. You also get higher vaccine uptake in the fall.

Once again, a company that many people rely upon for full time employment has side-stepped our employment laws by using shady tricks.

If I was $MTNB I would focus a bit on this aspect more. Healthcare savings aren't just products, it's also time and location. Two nurses working for 20 minutes is not nothing. Oral drugs can be taken in an outpatient setting instead of the hospital.
