@jordanromani1 @ThePoniExpress I think you need to intentionally invest first round picks, cap space, and tradable assets into offense until it’s adequate. That simple really.

@SteelerSteev @dlolley_pgh @BeefSupreme89 You’re just making my point. They have a top ten offense to complement their elite defense; right? The Steelers do not adequately invest via draft, trade, or free agency to build a complementary offense. Instead, highly paid defense gets a first round lineman to stop runs.

@Fields2PickensX @SteelerSteev @dlolley_pgh @BeefSupreme89 They traded a first round pick for AJ Brown on draft night. That’s three consecutive first round picks on a wideout, with two being home runs. Targeting offensive playmakers in multiple drafts creates room to fail. But, you’re too worried about stopping the run to think that big

@Michael_Filak @ChrisMuellerPGH Shortsighted viewpoint. Eagles installed their offensive franchise cornerstones before the first Super Bowl run. This defense was mostly built after that. That shift still didn’t prevent utilizing cap space to sign an elite running back.

@Blitz_Burgh There is no evidence anybody in this organization can build a sound offensive roster when you realize the owner/coach inherited Ben.

@jordanromani1 @ThePoniExpress You’re making my point. Ravens drafted two receivers in first round, hired an OC that improved their pass attack, and then invested in an elite RB via free agency. Their QB is a two time MVP, who had the ball 2/3 game against us. We aren’t a DT away from their level lol.

@jordanromani1 @ThePoniExpress Just a purely stupid take. Not same situation. Eagles invested heavily in offense before making a Super Bowl run. They pivoted to defense after losing Super Bowl, and even still acquired an elite running back last offseason. The Steelers’ offensive unit is pathetic.

@geoffschwartz No, it’s not. Jalen Hurts has toyed with the Chiefs defense almost every drive. Chiefs put the game in his hands by selling out against the run. Idiotic to devalue him handling Spags’ gameplan with ease.

@TomlinGottaGo @SteelerSteev @dlolley_pgh @BeefSupreme89 It’s not worth your time. The beat reporters can’t think for themselves. Front office wants defensive line so they’ll spend the offseason defending it.

@SteelerSteev @dlolley_pgh @BeefSupreme89 You not thinking the Eagles’ elite offensive unit played a significant impact in this lead is comical lol. Used first round picks on receiver three straight years. Two of them have a touchdown tonight, and the slot they took a flyer on nearly had one.

@dlolley_pgh @BeefSupreme89 Hey man, saw you cited the Eagles for this defensive line take. Just a heads up, that franchise invested significantly in offense before their first Super Bowl run. Pivoted to defense after the fact. Nowhere close to same scenario for Steelers.
