This post is lacking context here. Ppl love to say that the city of Detroit is messed up because it’s majority Black. But Black ppl didn’t set up its pension system, Black ppl didn’t set up the city charter and the tax system. Also, Black ppl didn’t make the decision to center….
"This is not the white people fault, ya'll don't take care of your sh*t. Black people need to stop living in denial.". Black man drops hard pills as he tours the black area of Detroit:

I don’t remember where I read it, but it was said that about 50% of white households today are products of the homestead act, which black ppl were excluded. Factor in red lining, the loss of land, employment & compensation disparities…you’re competing against the government.

We JUST had a white judge exposed for making racist remarks against Black Americans specifically. Please take the veil off.
White people do NOT know the difference between Haitians and anybody else in the Black diaspora, so this means that that entire shithole town is terrorizing ALL of its Black residents.

This tweet alone made me have to put my phone down. Like seriously, wtf?!?
I remember when the dark skinned dude with dreads was caught off guard in the back of Sasha Obama's picture and I saw Black Women saying he looks like a rapist or predator. Yall make some super racist assumptions about other black people, especially Black men.

Y’all are literally gonna black & brown and bipoc us to the death.
This country was absolutely built on hard work Dr. Phil…on the backs of Black, Brown, and lmmigrants from all across this WORLD! Many of which who were forced to do so! . SLAVERY. Let us know when you’re ready to tell the WHOLE story.

@Jidenna Name ONE hotep group that has orchestrated the public execution of a person, anywhere at any time in history, and was allowed to do so with state sponsored legislation and was codified into law. Idk who you’re signaling to with this ahistorical take, but it doesn’t match reality.

The support for Tariq nasheed is proof positive that there’s a serious anti intellectualism problem in the black community, and it’s a grave one. That man has done irreparable damage to the modern reparations movement, and I’ll die on that hill. It is what it is. 🤷🏾♂️.
Ya'll may not like this, but I am glad we have both these thought leaders. We need to offer a carrot and a stick and we are not going to reach all our people with only one style of communication. 👌🏿

@NkosiSpeakz Africa has 54 countries, hundreds of tribes, & they speak thousands of tongues. They have restrictions on how to, or if you can even become a citizen, & they have visa restrictions on travel between certain countries on the continent. Yet we’re divisive? When were we ever united?.

@jemelehill @VICETV @staceyabrams @ilazer Is this what it’s come to? Is the the ideal way to appeal to black voters? First it was converse shoes. Then it was wannabe timbalands. Now it’s stripper poles? I just don’t see how this is helpful. 🤷🏾♂️.

@TiffanyDCross The way this question is worded is strange. Most Black Americans are several generations removed from the continent. How can you “go back” to a place you’ve never lived? How can you return to a place where you weren’t born? And what exactly are we “going back” to? #QTNA.

The mob that burned Ocoee in 1920 to stop ADOS from voting. Hundreds died, most by being burned in their homes. Many victims were children who could not escape the flames…And you use this imagery to invoke rage and support for voting but not reparations? Fixed it for you.
The mob that burned Ocoee in 1920 to stop Blacks from voting. Hundreds died most by being burned in their homes. Many victims were children who could not escape the flames. and you may not VOTE?.(The Teach the Truth tour will be in Ocoee tomorrow.)

#ADOS apparently can’t get reparations until capitalism is dismantled, white supremacy dismantled, Gaza is freed, homelessness is over, world hunger is over, national healthcare, UBI, etc…Always adding more ingredients to the soup, and that’s my problem with the socialists.

I can’t take these online so-called “anti imperialist” Blacks thinking they’re holier than thou b/c they don’t wave the American flag, when many of them travel, work, or live in the states. Many of them have family who pledged allegiance to that flag in a naturalization ceremony.
I saw someone say “Beyoncé is reclaiming U.S. patriotism” to show “Black Americans remain the architects of this country.” *yawn* —there is no reclaiming what that flag represents on stolen land. It is a symbol of imperialism and a reactionary aesthetic.

“Negroes too busy arguing about who’s black and who’s not based on proximity to American slavery…” Translation: Y’all negroes’ laser focus on your experiences in the US context is getting in the way of me needing y’all to mule for international struggle!” Say it with your chest.
Negros too busy arguing about who’s black and who’s not based on proximity to american slavery instead of the fact that we’ve all been marginalized by the same people… let us know when it drops 💪🏾.

@KamalaHarris You’re not gonna do anything specific for them tho. They live vicariously through you, which is why a significant amount of them were duped. 🤷🏾♂️.

So this Nigerian man won an art contest to paint one or several prominent 19th century ADOS Black American figures, and he’s on social media calling the progeny of our ancestors akata?!?! Is this really what we’re doing? @WorcARTS.
@Greenlight_88 So, an Anti-Black American bigot who denigrates us on social media, referring to us African Americans/ Black Americans/ ADOS as “ak*tas” was selected to paint a portrait of Frederick Douglass? . @WorcARTS

Someone with the last name “Nguyen” (if that’s your real last name) doesn’t have room to decide who is or isn’t Black American. Mind the business that pays you.
For the uneducated Trump supporters that will say Kamala isn’t African American because her family is Jamaican: . 92% of Jamaicans are Black. She was born in Oakland. So being of African heritage and American, means she’s African American.

@SubriaWhitaker Now you’re trying to play the moral high ground when your peers & contemporaries are actively wishing police brutality & other ills on us over these election results. This criticism rings hollow, especially given that you had your electoral hopes set on white women. Now eat crow.

@AMG4life87 Doesn’t Ghana have the highest amount of AAs living there outside of America? Seems highly doubtful that they’re trying to lord over y’all. For some, they actually wanna lay roots their and make a home for themselves, but this is the response they get? Noted.

Okay, so when more waves of Black Americans go over to African countries and drive up the cost of living and disrupt the natives’ way of life with their American dollars…I don’t wanna see/hear anyone crying about it. Turnabout is fair game, right? 🤷🏾♂️.

Black people are married to a notion of “moral solidarity”. Other ppl know that resources are limited and that politics is sometimes a zero sum game. If their group eating means we starve, they’ll take it. Meanwhile, we’re tryna make sure everyone eats, even to our own detriment.
Black ppl have a "solidarity" obsession, not because of it's strategic political value in advancing our agenda, but because we are trying to prove to other racial & ethnic groups that we are worth reciprocity. And that's a problem.

@AfricanaCarr No. THIS is weaponized ignorance. How do you expect to legally dismantle whiteness if you see us as mere immigrants with no ties to the US? Your rhetoric is dangerous because it leaves us in a position of perpetual, fractional citizenship. A plant uprooted.

It was easier to sell Obama to black voters in large part due to Michelle and their daughters. She provided him with cover to be seen as “black enough” to be palatable to black voters. Kamala doesn’t have that, she deviated from the playbook. That’s a mark on her, not us.
Former President Barack Obama has a “tough talk” at the Black voters for Harris event in East Liberty. He addressed that Black men have not been as enthused about Harris as during his first run, and he sought to encourage them to join Harris’ movement

@KimberlyNFoster You act like we already got our reparations and that we have the socio-political bandwidth to shoulder other community’s issues on equal footing with our own. Clean that up.

Speaking of #Blackjobs should he be re-elected what is Biden and his administration going to do about investing in Black men to get better jobs? 🤔 It seems like they completely forgot about this:

I’m getting the feeling that some people think #ADOS is saying something along the lines of “my slavery is better than yours, which means we’re better than other blacks!” Do you have any clue how f*cking ridiculous you’d have to be to actually believe that? 🤦🏾♂️.

Beyond tired of you celebrity negores with an identity crisis going on trips to Africa to “find yourself” or to attempt to fill the “gaps” in your identity, whatever that means. 🤷🏾♂️.
Being in Ghana opened my eyes to who I was! Unless you are a Native American, your roots are NOT here and it’s perfectly natural and liberating to embrace that!
